Workflows
A workflow step that can read. The overdue-invoice rule fires like it always has. The new part is what happens next: Odient reads the account, drafts the reminder in words a human would send, and waits for your approval.
In development, and part of the Odient roadmap. Want early access? Say so when you book a demo.
The step your automations skip: reading.
Odoo automations handle “if this, then exactly that” well. What they cannot do is read an email thread, weigh a customer’s history, or word a difficult reminder. Those steps stay manual in every Odoo we have seen. Odient takes them on, and each one still stops at the same approval gate as any other action.
Odient already runs multi-step Odoo work when you ask. The self-triggering version is what we are building now. And a boundary worth stating: a workflow that posts or sends with no human in the loop is not on our roadmap. Ever.
